If anyone's out there, on whatever stations this thing has-it looks like it only has one??- My name's......uh...

My names... Lee. Nothin more you gotta know than that. I've been sailing the mighty ocean for maybe... five or six years? I dunno, I lost my calendar last month. But anyways, that's not important.

I found this shabby old radio in my nets a few days ago, and shockingly, the old hunk of metal works! Never knew the atlantic had that sorta sea life. It kinda felt like finding treasure, just without the map or the pirates, or-!

Uh. Well. What was i saying...? Oh, right!

The purpose of this message is, well...nothing fancy. Guess ive...been getting kinda lonley out here, you know? I'm doing good, don't get me wrong! But, uhm. The fish don't make good conversation. And, uh. You can only talk to your reflection so many times before ya run outta stories, haha. Plus, can you imagine the shit this radios endured? It's insane it's still functional! Seems like some sorta sign.

I guess I'm just casting this message out to see if anyone's out there, if anyone wants to just chat, or something, like two old pals who have absolutely no idea who each other are. And hey, maybe we can exchange a few stories...? Or, or not- that's stupid. I'm loosin my marbles out here!

(OOC: Heya, @cheeseinthesea here, otherwise known as clover/cheese! I'm the clown running this whole circus! If you already read the description, you have some info already. But here's a bit more on this au/askblog if your curious:

In this AU, Stanley and ford still had their fight, but the portal was never activated. After the dust cleared, Stanley agreed to take the journal and leave after seeing how much this affected ford. He gave up his life to fix Fords, as he saw it. However, rather than burying Journal 1, he holds onto it and simply sails, believing nowhere he leaves it will be safe enough.(he wants to do something worth while.) He's ditched the life of crime in order to keep it safe, living off of fishing and the occasional pickpocketing in towns. He's presumed dead by most in this universe given his silence.

One morning, he fished up a radio from the sea. In this case, the people on the other end of the radio are asks! the radio is like...weird. you know. idk man if you want more specifics I can dive into it sometime

To be honest, I wasn't planning on making this a serious thing, but the idea plauged me, so here we are. A few base rules, though;

1. Again, this doesn't have to be serious! You can make asks as silly or as serious, complex or as simple as you want. You can be from any Fandom or no Fandom, you can give stanley stuff if you want, ect ect ect. Go wild! Hell, break onto his ship and give this horrid rat of a man a heart attack at age 36/silly. I dont have a plot or anything for this au, so like. genuienly fuck it we ball.(also, asks with images will just be like a photo appearing out of thin air. I thought too much in this.)

2. Pleasee.try to keep things appropriate. I am not comfortable with sexual topics or implications (jokes are fine but within reason. Be snart)

ur probably sick of seeing posts like these but i just want to sit here and muse about how, well, i enjoy tumblr #mytumblr not just because of all the obvious stuff like how it’s not run on an algorithm, and because it’s one of the only social media that i don’t have to jump through hoops to use and that isn’t phone-exclusive (for me)

but i think my favorite thing has to be the askblogs, and running one. which is weird, because if you asked me as little as 3 years ago what i loved most about tumblr, i’d probably say “uh, looking at owl house posts, i guess?”, it’s weird because i never actually planned to make one and created it on a whim based on a few random people’s tags, and even then it was made mostly as a joke. i just never thought about it before—i grew up with askblogs, an era of tumblr that was truly as magical as it was catastrophic (as all things that get vaguely popular), but i never thought about making one because: it’s a commitment, it seems like a lot, i’m inconsistent, how would i draw for it every single time, etc etc all that good stuff

but then i just made it. and fuck me is it the most fun thing ever. it doesn’t have to be consistent. it doesn’t have to be perfect, or polished, or anything really. it just has to be. to exist out there in the world and be open to messages. the most it has to be is loved by me and by u guys.

and that’s the thing! the best thing—i love involving u guys in my writing, pushing the characters in one direction and then the next, seeing where that takes us (because i don’t always know either, that’s what writing is all about babeyyy). i love that i don’t have to just post the most important plot beats one after the other and have the story be done there. i love that i get to weave the development through vaguely connected, sometimes relevant but sometimes completely random joke asks. that i don’t have to write a whole ass novel of build-up or draw everything as one long-running comic just to make my characters feel like they actually exist and react to the things around them, that they’re not just here to get from point a to b. and i love that you’re all part of it. the story seriously just wouldn’t be the way it is without all of you guys who are always so curious to ask something, or call a character out (depending on how much they need to be humbled COUGHHHHCOUGHHHHH)

so yeah, i’m just forever grateful for all of you and for the fact that tumblr allows things like these to happen. i have no idea what other site could possibly offer the same sort of experience, or anything similar, but i am just forever in love with the fact that it’s something you can do here. i wouldn’t trade it for anything. what a cool fucking thing to be able to do

What exactly is Once-ler Destiny and how does it work? :o

It's a fun meta concept that came from the fact that the fandom had so many onceler askblogs! After hundreds of askblogs were created, some people eventually decided to make their askblog oc self-aware, and some askblogs are actually entirely based off of this self awareness. Here's a taste of Once-ler Destiny existentialism and the ways I've seen it explored:

What makes a onceler a onceler? Why are you a onceler living in a multiverse with so many other oncelers? If you're born with the onceler name, are you doomed to meet the lorax, become a successful business man, bigger too much and too fast, experience a catastrophic downfall and then isolate yourself for 50 years until a kid named Ted comes to visit you? Like so many other people named Once-ler have gone through? Spiderverse may have copied the onceler fandom but at least they were able to give us the neat term "canon events" to describe this series of certain plot points of Once-ler Destiny.

And then, are you a onceler who even knows about this destiny? Would you believe it if someone tries to warn you, or do you think you'll be that one special one that succeeds? Or maybe you think it's a bunch of BS and any onceler who believes they can't control their own life is an idiot? But then what then, are you still a real "onceler" if you DO deviate from or escape this destiny? Destiny is called destiny for a reason, you know. So CAN you escape this destiny, and if you can, then were you ever a real "onceler" in the first place? In other words, is a onceler defined by whether Once-ler Destiny applies to them? What if you sold something other than thneeds, or does the product not matter? What exactly are the canon events of Once-ler Destiny anyway? What about deoncelerization, are you safe if you deoncelerize? And on the opposite end, what if you were just a normal guy with a normal name, but then you decide to take on a onceler persona? Are you willingly stepping into Once-ler Destiny and dooming yourself?

I also have my own au related to rain world, and now I will tell you a lot of it. However, I will not mention one part of the information, since my Persians themselves will be able to answer it in the form of an aska (so do not hesitate to write me messages with your questions about my au :)), and I will not be able to mention other information since I am currently writing fan fiction on a Russian platform called "Ficbook.net " by This week, and it's not finished yet. AU setting: all SW actions take place in a kind of simulation. The world is quite realistic and is located in three-dimensional space, however, by its very nature it obeys game laws and logic, which means that the creatures there have an indicator of karma, hunger, cycle duration report, etc., in general, everything that is in the base game.

The plot in brief:The developers have already created many different mini-worlds called "campaigns" and placed slugs with different histories, chaoacters and goals for life there. But that wasn't enough for the gods. They became bored with ordinary worlds that follow some kind of rules. Therefore, they hastily created the "Enota campaign" and created almost simultaneously one of their most important and dominant persons in SW — Enota and Fear (he was not called that before, so I will call Whity in this period of time, BUT this is not the canonical name of this character, but only a temporary code name)). They were both immediately told that they existed in a fictional world and that they were created only so that both poor slugs would suffer. And Enota was also given out how pathetic and insignificant he was, and then they threw both slugs into their world. An important clarification: Whity and Enot had not seen each other before, the developers created them separately from all the others so that they would not see each other inadvertently.

Enot did not know how to survive in his world, which is why he spent a lot of effort to survive his first cycle. All this was observed by Whity, which in fact is essentially the soul of Enot, which is imprisoned in his consciousness, into which Enot himself can penetrate only when he is asleep. And so, in a dream, the slugs met and became friends. The developers also informed him about their nature when creating Whity, and also said that if Enot commits at least one sin, it will affect his soul, that is, on Whity itself. He will be in terrible pain and constantly writhing in pain. And knowing all this information from the developers, Whity asked his friend not to commit any sins. The soul was terribly paranoid and did not allow Enot to enter normally and step in. He even forbade slug to pick up a spear in principle, and as a result, to fight in order to banal self-defense.

Enot did not know how to survive in his world, which is why he spent a lot of effort to survive his first cycle. All this was observed by Whity, which in fact is essentially the soul of Enot, which is imprisoned in his consciousness, into which Enot himself can penetrate only when he is asleep. And so, in a dream, the slugs met and became friends. No matter how hard Enot tried to rid his friend of these sins, there were more and more of them, and at the same time the pain from these sins only became stronger and more unbearable. At this point, a Feeling of Fault appears in the plot. This character is metaphorical, we can say that he does not exist in reality, he is needed so that one can understand the thoughts and feelings of one of the characters, in our case, Enot. That is, it means that only Enot can see Feeling of Fault and talk to him. Because of the fractures in the relationship with Whity, Feeling of Fault began to tell Enot that he was still a loser and a weakling, which only added more oil to the fire and made the whole situation only worse. At some point, a real scandal broke out between Enot and Whity during which they stopped being friends. After that, after a while, Whity was completely consumed by sins, and Enot's Feeling of Fault became especially strong during this period of time. Enot's consciousness, in order to protect him, sharpened Feeling of Fault and began to gradually erase all painful memories associated with Whity. At some point, he completely forgot about his former friend and can be said to have started life with a clean slate. And it would seem that this is a good thing, now Enot has become completely free from the prohibitions of his former friend, and even now no Feeling of Fault will bother him, but... The thirst for blood still remained in him. At first, Enot tried to suppress her and he killed especially only scavengers, because they had caused him too much pain in the past, but over time, Enot's moral compass completely erased and he began killing everyone indiscriminately in rather cruel ways, eager to hear the screams of his victims and taste their torn flesh and meat. Enot-maniac was very strong because he faced enemies every cycle and learned to defeat them. He became so strong that the scavengers, realizing that they could not resist this psychopath in any way, began to hide in secret bunkers underground without proper food, heat and much more. Enot-maniac destroyed the lives of many creatures, and those who miraculously survived were left with many mental injuries. The most revealing of them will be my scavenger character named Cold-blooded Wind. As a child, an Enot-maniac tore off his eye, but he was able to escape, however, this incident affected not only physically, but also mentally (you can learn the details of the Wind's background from ask. Believe me, everything is much worse there than you think. This is the third most tragic character in SW)

It seemed to Enot-maniac that he had reached the top and found his happiness and the meaning of life, but... That's not so. He actually needed companionship and good friends all this time. He began to wish for it as soon as the developers abandoned him to his fate. Throughout his life, Enot has never been able to feel real affection and support from others, and as a result, the murders of Enot-maniac began to get boring. What's the point of killing everyone and everything like that? He had tried all possible methods of murder on his victims anyway, everyone had long ago realized that Enota was a maniac worth being afraid of... A small piece of forgotten memories was able to remind Enot-maniac of the void sea, which Whity once told him about and he headed to it in order to finally find his long-awaited peace. But plunging into it, Enot found himself in a dating simulator. He spent a lot of time in it, and during this time, Enot, communicating with other slugs and not killing anyone, realized that he was wrong. That killing is not an option and that he wants to find friends! That's just how to do it if you can't get out of dating sim? But who said that it is ABSOLUTELY impossible to get out of dms? Remembering what kind of drug addiction an Enot egg could create in a dating simulator, he threw it at one of the buttons in this space and it was swallowed up by a singularity. Then the walls cracked and behind them was the code of all slug campaigns, as well as the code of the dms itself, which was also swallowed up by this black hole. After that, this hole in space and time turned into a portal and sucked Enot into it.He found himself back in his campaign, but now some of the chips from dms are now working in his world (that is, the egg can now create fierce nonsense and drug addiction here if desired), as well as slugs from its campaigns appeared in different parts of his world. The Raccoon has a new chance to start this life from scratch, make friends and find his happiness by ascending into the void sea. First of all, he changed his name to Eve, since the name Raccoon was now associated with his dark past. After meeting the Monk, he realized that there were probably a lot of such popadans in his world, so Inv decides to create his own gang called the "VC Gang" (VC - Void Cats). At the moment, this gang consists of Monk, Survivor, Hunter, Gourmet, their tamed red lizard and Inv himself, who is the leader here.On the way of our friends, there will be many obstacles that will mainly occur due to Fear (as Inv called Whity when they met again), which, due to sins, received quite a lot of power and authority. In order to put obstacles to slugs, he sends a black parasite blob into the real world, which infects a creature nearby that is afraid of Inv, which means that he cannot infect the same Inv friends, because slugcat is obviously not afraid of them. However, other obstacles will be encountered due to Inv's dark past, which he tries to hide from everyone. Scavengers still remember the time when the Enot Maniac raged in their world, and this will have its consequences...

This is based off of my Golden Trio AU, where Henry gets springlocked in Golden Freddy along with Cassidy and the Crying Child (who I call Dave). Now he has to deal with the horrors of FNAF AND take care of two dead kids and their shenanigans! More details here.

so for some Reasons, the same reasons zombinoslayer is on indefinite hiatus, i have a question on like. Say there is a Truffula Flu-oriented plot, story. Y'know a narrative. Coming up, but the way it's being made is basically prose-based, how would you prefer to see that formatted onto a tumblr askblog/archive thing?

it does deal with two characters and two characters only (so far?)

rp-style is out of the question because of editing reblogs being killed

but...i have a few thoughts, but i'm not sure which one people would like to read and digest the most

for more clarity on what i mean with terms/styles: click under the readmore

when i say "prose-style" i mean it's written like a novel. it's 3rd-person limited and past tense.

The sun was baring down hard on Mikey's back as he trudged down the sidewalk. He drug his feet, pose hunched. Why did he have to run out of eggs on the hottest day of the year?

when i say "script-style" i mean that it's written how you would read the script for a show or a play. this is how i treated zombinoslayer's big scenes. it'd have progressive images for each action/dialogue, wherever i deemed an image needed/important

Mikey: [The sun is bright and harsh. He is walking down the sidewalk. He looks exhausted.] Why did I have to run out of eggs on the hottest day of the year?!

and when i say comic, well, that's obvious. i'd do my best to translate everything as well as i can into something that is heavily image and dialogue based that has comic frames and such.

pros and cons of all these being:

prose pros (lol): it keeps all of the character's inner feelings, struggles, and thoughts and even some motives out and easier to see, which with these scenes and with how these characters are, might be important or even very enlightening for people i also don't have to draw as much because i would only be illustrating significant parts and to make the posts look more appealing/interesting. thus updates would happen more frequently. easier to plug into a translator if english isn't your first language the images would be illustrations i'd actually put effort into since there would be so few of them

prose cons: it'll be a lot more reading overall less left to interpretation, i guess? less pretty pictures? it takes a lot more cerebral energy in some cases to take in prose and turn it around in your mind i just get that for some people, they don't like walls of text. like i, for one, have gotten very bad at reading so i get it

script pros: more pictures to look at then prose-style scenes move by more quickly and smoothly, everything focuses more on actions and interactions so maybe things are easier to digest than prose-style still translator-friendly updates still more frequent than comic-style, but less frequent than prose-style most likely full-color images. may or may not have a bg in every image (just think zombino-slayer style? but i might not render every time either like i did there because that was..phew..that took a lot out of me)

script cons: more images to draw for me the format might be wonky to some none of those inner thoughts/monologues, a lot of depth and inner feelings/struggles/references made in the characters heads are left out. it all focuses on the external with hints to the internal left to expression, body language, and dialogue and the reader's own bias/experience

comic pros: ALL THE PICTURES YOU COULD WANT! everything's images! if you're most comfy with reading comics or manga already, you'd dig this (obviously) the least reading and it's all together in one image (well multiple) very easy to soar through and take everything in since the focus is on images and dialogue Only (maybe narrative notes or thought boxes when really important) easiest to share i'd think? and easiest to get a feel for what's going on in a scene without having to study and/or think too hard about it

comic cons: oh my god all that drawing...updates would be slow as molasses tbqh.. unless i decided to do manga-style aka B&W or limited grayscale/monochrome. even then though again, everything internal would be left to the hints you'd get from the external i could give with imagery, panel-shape, dialogue, and such not translator-friendly (i know there's the google image translator, but i'd be handwriting the text (i just like how it looks best) and it's not always friendly to handwriting)

other notes: i do think i'm a pretty strong prose-writer, but i also think i'm a pretty strong comicsmith. so i don't think it's really up to what i'd, personally, be able to pull off best with the skills i own :3 (and i mean script-style is the most simple of the three. and i've already done it. it'd be almost identical to zombinoslayer. and it'd be most similar to Camp Entre's rp-style i think? even though Camp Entre was much more dialogue-based than anything else

i know i haven't uploaded too much of either, especially my writing, but trust...i'm pretty good at it. at least that's what people tell me.

Hey! I'm Franklin, he/they. First year student at Naranja Academy, but I've been through several Gym Circuts for 7 years at this point. The Treasure Hunt is well underway, and things are looking great! I'm a ghost and fire type specialist, as well as a general Drowzee/Hypno specialist LOL

MY CURRENT TEAM:

Koraidon: a strange form of Cyclizar given to me by my friend Arven, originally owned by his mother Professor Sada. He prefers not to battle, but he will if he needs to. He maily loves acting as a riding mount and food-stealer >:P

Lullay: my service Hypno and first partner Pokemon. We've been a duo for 14 years now! She doesn't primarily battle, she mostly helps with my anxiety and insomnia. She steps up for defense if we need it, though.

Tabasco: my Skeledirge and chosen starter for Naranja Academy! He's a little scrapper and eager to prove himself in a fight, and just as eager to sit back, sing his little songs, and eat all my oranges. Little orange heathen even as he grows up

Sparky: my Luxray! He's a bundle of energy and a reckless battler. He loves nothing more than getting to flaunt his stuff and also wail and cry and flail his fists on the ground when he loses

Sushi: my Curly Tatsugiri, and an odd quiet fellow. He likes splashing water on the other teammates for funny pranks and curling up in my collar or hair. That being said, he is a FIERCE battler. Honestly kinda scary with what he can pull off from such a tiny body...

Arthur: my Beartic! He's very polite with me and the team, but fierce when it comes to defense. It takes a while for him to warm up to new people, but those he warms up to he holds close.

Strawberry Lemonade: my shiny Amped-Up Toxtricity, who i rescued from the wild as a Shadow variant. She's clingy and packs a MEGA punch, and cocky with her skills as a battler. Now that she's come out of her shell, her punk rock personality really shines through.

Montez: my Garchomp, and just what you'd expect from such a feared creature. She's the meanest of the group and always first to volunteer for a fight. She swings hard and fights with pure power. Now that she's calmed, she's the perfect guard 'mon.

Things at Naranja are going great! My friend Nemona has shown me all the ropes, and I feel like I'm gonna have a good few years here. This might just be my Yelling About Things blog. So if you're into that thing feel free to tag along!

Be prepared for Main Character And Mary Sue Shenanigans, and dont be afraid to ask abt stuff he mentions in posts!! I plan to have this going as a whole thing with arcs and all that, basically going through all of scarvi's plot, including DLC down the line. This WAS gonna be an art-based askblog but i dont rlly have the time for one of those :( but ill be posting story snippets later down the lind!

Pelipper Mail is on as long as its something small, he wont accept like new pokemon or money or anything. Think like what youd get from a mystery gift :D Magic Anons are off!

Also, dont take everything Franklin says at face-value. He's got a loong history, and some secrets to hide. There's a chance he could be lying about some stuff ',:) expect a well meaning but unreliable narrator

That being said, I like to do my own worldbuilding so whenever he goes into biology details dont look too hard into it. We're havin fun here. I also don't plan on doing any multiverse shenanigans. This is a self contained story about an oc thats very dear to me :D so just go with the flow. I might interact with other blogs as long as its feasible they could on Rotomblr connected through a multiverse.

Other character interaction is encouraged, as well has sentient pokemon except Legendaries! He has his own lore with a lot of legends it would be a little wack

Author’s Note.

Hello. My name is Yeet. I am the Mod behind Glitch! Barnaby and Dogfish! Barnaby.

As of the time I am writing this, Glitch, and the rest of the Comfort Trio (Lucille Lovejoy and Wanderer! Wally), will be undergoing a reboot/rewrite.

The reason for this is that, to put it simply, we (the Mods behind the askblog) never set out our boundaries ahead of time.

When the Comfort Trio askblog was first made on October 12th, 2023, we never made a pinned post. We never stated what our boundaries were, because we didn’t think we needed to, at least not at that time.

As you can assume, that was a mistake.

Originally, the askblog was just suppose to center around the three characters my friends and I had made. But, when others started roleplaying with us, specifically with Glitch, I got distracted.

I will admit, I am the main one at fault here. I got so excited by the idea of roleplaying with others, that I was blind to the original plot my friends and I had set out.

The askblog was never suppose to be about text roleplays.

It was suppose to showcase art and comics that my friends and I would make, to answer questions and further the plot of the story.

But others started roleplaying with text, and the dopamine hits of that were addicting to me.

It was like a drug.

I messed things up by including others, by not setting out the boundaries that we needed.

Glitch was never suppose to have a brotherly dynamic. He was never meant to have a found family, a robot mom that he abandons, he was never suppose to have any of that.

And Dogfish was never meant to get married. He was never meant to find love, adopt kids, none of that.

It’s too late for Dogfish to get rebooted. Too late to push him back into his original form.

You guys can keep him. You already keep him. His story can never be rewritten now.

But my friends and I AT LEAST want to keep the Comfort Trio. We want to AT LEAST rewrite that.

To make a long story short: the stories of Glitch and Dogfish end here.

Dogfish ends with a happy marriage and three kids.

And Glitch is gonna be revived with his original intention.

One dies like a whale, and the other is revived like a phoenix.

Please do not yell at me or my friends about this. Do not try to convince us to just keep it as it is.

Because it won’t work.

I spent so much time and energy trying to please everyone with quick text-based roleplays, even if it wasn’t my original intention for the story, even if it was convoluted and confusing, even if I had to give and give and give up everything I had work so hard to keep.

My friends and I are changing that now. I will not focus so much of pleasing every little person.

You’ll keep one. But I’m taking the other with me.

Sorry if this has been asked already but what ARE they? Are all stick people fluffy? Are they like based off of satyr cat people? Does everyone have powers or just Terrance and members of his family? Is there a CCC for these kinds of people? Is Terrance wary of his sibling because that is a power of his (like Henry’s danger arrows) or just instinct? When are these people able to use their powers? How is Terrance’s family sure that some of them don’t have powers?

within the universe of this askblog, all the characters (with exceptions that will be plot relevant later) are Stickbeasts, which is a totally made up species for the purposes of my lore! "satyr cat people" is a pretty good way to sum them up. Fluffiness is a feature of their species yes, but certain stickbeasts can be furless due to anomalous mutation (or sometimes through balding with age).

Powers aren't exclusive to Terrence and his family! All of the Horsegents are anomalous in some fashion, but not all stickbeasts are anomalous. The CCC and how the CCC feels about and treats these anomalies will be plot relevant later.

Terrence is wary of Henry because of a prophecy he received about them when they were born! This may or may not come up later if I find a reason to focus on it, but Henry isn't very relevant beyond the prologue at the moment.

For some anomalies, their powers can be controlled, while for others it'll be triggered at random. The Stickmins' future sight is one that just depends on the individual, some trigger randomly, while others have more control over what they see and when. Terrence specifically experiences visions at random.

Anomalies have physical "tells" that indicate their anomalous status, some more subtle than others. For Stickmins, those with powers have red eyes that reflect gold under direct light.

I have drawn more of Taisuke than him and it might make people think DigiTimeLines protagonist is Taisuke. but no. it's Daichi. It's just… Daichi is not that funny to draw all the time… 🥲

I feel like changing Daichi's birthday since Aug 3 being a plot point was based on the idea of Daichi being the new life of Wizardmon, but i scrapped that idea.

Daichi was made just for a reply to a question on the Dai-Vee askblog because i didn't feel like comfortable with the epilogue back in time (nowadays i'm pro-epilogue and still pro-dont-like-it-then-make-your-own-AU-and-let-the-canon-alone) but he got attention and yeah.
